Molded pulp packaging can be produced by two main manufacturing routes — dry pressing and wet pressing. Each delivers a different look, strength and cost profile. We master both, and recommend the one that fits your product best.

The Same Green Material, Two Different Finishes
In both processes, different pulp materials are formed on custom molds and dried into strong, protective packaging. The difference lies in how much pressure, heat and precision is applied during forming — and that changes everything: surface finish, density, detail, cost and application.
Natural Texture. Proven Efficiency.
In the dry process, pulp is formed on open molds and dried without intense pressure. The result is packaging with a distinctive, natural fibrous texture — lightweight, economical, and produced at high speed.

Smooth Finish. Precision Detail.
The wet process applies higher pressure and heat with matched molds, compressing the fibers into a denser, smoother structure. The result: clean surfaces, crisp edges and fine detail — closer to a premium product finish than traditional molded pulp.
